Ashley P. Holmes is an associate in our Raleigh office. Ashley's practice includes civil matters, focusing on eminent domain, land use, and business litigation.
Ashley has represented both land owners and condemnors in eminent domain actions. She has drafted land use ordinances for municipal clients and has also assisted land owners in litigation related to zoning and land use approvals.
Ashley is a member of the Wake County, Tenth Judicial District, and North Carolina Bar Associations, and she is admitted to practice federal law before the Eastern District of North Carolina.
Ashley earned her J.D. (with honors), from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she served on the North Carolina Journal of Law and Technology as both a published staff writer and a notes editor. Ashley is an active member of the Young Lawyers Division of the North Carolina Bar Association and volunteers with a number of community organizations, including the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Network and the Contemporary Art Museum of Raleigh.
