Megan B. Caramore

Megan concentrates her practice in FELA litigation, financial services litigation, medical malpractice litigation, and workers’ compensation insurance defense. She has experience handling a wide variety of litigation. She has argued before the Virginia Supreme Court and regularly handles cases in federal and state courts, at both the trial and appellate levels. Additionally, Megan has successfully handled matters before the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and Immigration Courts in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Her federal litigation experience includes serving as lead counsel on interpleader action. 

Megan is the Tidewater Regional Director for the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, and is a member of  the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Inns of Court. Megan recently published an article entitled, “The Rules of Evidence in Workers’ Compensation Proceedings” in The Journal of Civil Litigation, Vol. XXVI, No. 3 (Fall 2015).
