Carpenter Joins Law Offices of Vandeventer Black

PASADENA, CA.  The law offices of Vandeventer Black LLP are pleased to announce that Michelle Carpenter has joined the firm’s Pasadena, California office. Michelle’s practice focuses on construction law, commercial litigation and general litigation.  Her background in the construction field includes prisons, public schools, power plants, office buildings, parking structures, hotels and theaters.

Carpenter received her B.A. in Criminal Justice from California State University, San Bernardino, and her J.D. from California Southern Law School.  She is licensed to practice in California and is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.  Michelle handles matters involving defective construction, contract and payment disputes, stop notice claims, payment and performance bond claims and false claims.  Her client representation includes general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, construction managers and developers.
