RALEIGH, NC. Vandeventer Black LLP is pleased to announce that partner Norman W. Shearin has been selected as one of North Carolina’s Super Lawyers for 2011 in the area of Eminent Domain.
Shearin concentrates his law practice in condemnation, land use and property rights litigation. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Real Property Law - Business, Commercial, and Industrial Transactions. He is seasoned in Condemnation, Land Use and Property Rights law and has done considerable work for various electric cooperatives and municipalities. Norm represents both landowners and condemnors.
He received a B.S. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, where he served as Research Editor of the Wake Forest Law Review.
