Kim is an attorney with Vandeventer Black and concentrates her law practice in workers’ compensation defense and labor and employment. She works with insurance carriers and self-insured businesses and associations defending workers’ compensation claims filed pursuant to the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Act and the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act. Kim also works with risk managers, human resource professionals and executives on preventive strategies.
Kim received a B.A. (with distinction) from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she was a Member of the Moot Court Board and National Moot Court Team.
Kim served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Lawrence L. Koontz, Jr., former Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals of Virginia, from 1986 to 1987.
