We have also closed hundreds of millions of dollars of conduit loans, often refinancing banks’ construction loans. Vandeventer Black represents major shopping center syndicators, developers, and landlords. We are authorities on environmental and wetlands law and also riparian rights, with a special focus on waterfront industrial property. We handle loan workout and bankruptcy cases, primarily on the creditor side.

We represent a number of preferred developers for national retail chains. Also, we represent maritime vessel owners.

Our labor and employment attorneys successfully handle matters ranging from employment practices, EEOC and discrimination claims and collective bargaining. Vandeventer Black’s litigation attorneys have tremendous depth in matters ranging from federal court litigation on loan documents to product liability and construction disputes. We have the largest construction and government contracts law group between Washington and Atlanta, in place to address the financial and creative funding issues faced with these industries, including Public-Private Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act (PPEA) and Public-Private Transportation Act (PPTA) opportunities.
