Joy Joins Law Offices of Vandeventer Black
NORFOLK, VA.
The law offices of Vandeventer Black LLP are pleased to announce that Sheryn E. Joy has joined the firm. Joy will concentrate her practice in civil litigation, construction and public contracts law and professional liability defense. Before joining Vandeventer Black, Joy served as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Cook County in Chicago, IL, where she prosecuted a variety of matters on behalf of the State. She received her B.A. in Communication Studies at the University of California at Los Angeles and her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame School of Law, receiving the International Academy of Trial Lawyer’s Award and competing in the Barrister’s Moot Court Trial Team.
