ostroff Joins Law Offices Of Vandeventer Black
NORFOLK, VA
The law offices of Vandeventer Black LLP are pleased to announce that Ethan G. Ostroff has joined the firm. Ostroff concentrates his practice in general and commercial litigation.
Ostroff earned his J.D. (cum laude) from American University, Washington College of Law. During law school, he served as a Judicial Intern for The Honorable Judge Richard W. Roberts, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and as a Research Analyst for the Public International Law and Policy Group, a global pro bono law firm that provides free legal assistance to developing countries involved in conflict.
Ostroff earned his M.Phil. from the University of Memphis. He holds a B.A. (summa cum laude) in Philosophy and German from Emory University, where he completed the Zertifikat Deutsch als Fremdsprache. Ostroff was awarded a Fulbright Commission English Language Teaching Assistantship following his graduation from Emory and spent an academic year in Linz, Austria.
Ostroff served as a Law Clerk for the Circuit Court of the City of Virginia Beach.
Ostroff is admitted to practice in Virginia and is based in the firm’s Norfolk office. He is fluent in English and German.
